LKNEA and LKSD have not reached a tentative agreement in regards to the certified teachers contract, on September 3rd the teams will met with a mediator to attempt to reach a tentative agreement. Progress was being while in mediation and both sides agreed to continue with the assistance of the mediator. At the mediator's request neither side will be making statements as to current positions.
The teams will be meeting on October 27th, 2008.
